We are taught in Paul’s letter to the Ephesians:

“Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Ephesians 5:19)

As a team, the FBC Worship Ministry exists to do just that, with a goal of bringing those in our services into an encounter with God. Through music, Bible reading, prayer and other creative avenues, we seek to open the hearts and minds of the worshiper to receive teaching and inspiration.

Our musical style is contemporary, using the songs of today’s writers, yet we incorporate many of the anointed hymns of the church, emphasizing the importance of the message of the song over the accompaniment.
