Hello FBC Family,
We greet you with the words of the Apostle Paul from 1 Thessalonians, “Grace to you and peace. We always thank God for all of you, remembering you constantly in our prayers.” We are praying that you are experiencing God’s generous GRACE and walking in the PEACE that nobody can give the way He is able to.
This week has revealed events in our community, state, country and globe the likes of which we have not seen before. The reality is that next week will most likely reveal even more uncertainty. BUT, our God is still greater than he that is in the world. Let’s all lean heavily into Him!
In this communication we want to catch you up on some of the encouraging and informative words coming from FBC this week that you may have missed. We would also love to hear from you about how you are connecting with those around you.
Are you donating blood, making masks, writing letters or coloring pictures? No one is too young to be in on this. Maybe you’ve been able to run errands for your elderly neighbor or young mom at home, trying to shield her children. We would love to hear from you so we can pass your ideas on to others at FBC.
Maybe you are feeling the weight of these days and need someone to connect with. We want to know that too! We want to be the hands and feet of Jesus for ALL those we able to help. Sometimes it just requires the body knowing your need. Whatever the case, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will share it with the rest of our community (or keep it within the elders and pastors if it’s not something you wish to go outside our leadership circle) .
