Sam Schwenk is the Pastor of Adult Ministry and the Primary Teaching Pastor. Born and raised in Illinois, he completed his training at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Along with his wife, Gail, he has served at Fellowship Bible Church since 1998. “Nothing is more fulfilling than watching faith seekers discover Jesus Christ and set out on the journey of experiencing significance and purpose that God created them for.”
Jim and Susan Whittaker Pastor of Family Ministries
Jim Whittaker is the Pastor of Family Ministries. He and his wife, Susan, work hard to strategically partner with parents, seeking to help them raise children who love God with all their heart, mind and strength. Jim oversees the implementation of ministry to children and students from birth through 12th grade. His primary ministry focus is to students who are in 6th – 12th grade.
Sue is the Elementary Ministry director and they serve together in all things pertaining to Family Ministry.

Jim and Sue both graduated from Practical Bible Training School (now known as Davis College) in 1986 with a three-year diploma in Church Ministries to Youth and Biblical Studies. They have been in full-time ministry since 1988 and have two grown sons.
In their free time they enjoy spending time hanging out with their family, geocaching and traveling.
Michael and Melissa Gum Pastor of Worship Arts
Michael and Melissa Gum use their gifts as worship leaders to help guide our church into an encounter with God in our weekly services.They have been making music together for over a decade, leading adult and youth worship teams, writing and recording worship music, and helping to raise up aspiring worship musicians.
Michael is a graduate of Denver Seminary and has worked full-time as a worship pastor since 2014.
Patty Nuzum Champion Multi-Tasker
Patty is the office administrator here at FBC. As you might imagine, she has quite the assortment of hats, and she wears them all well! “It is truly amazing to see how God is going to provide just what’s needed on any given day. The challenges are many, the rewards are monumental. A special bonus…I get to see God move in the lives of many people.”
